Social embarrassment is a common fear in most of us. This also stands out as a reason why many would rather be part of the crowd than stand out. However, physical imperfections sometimes evolve into major causes of embarrassment. One such example would be chest fat in men.

It could be a result of hormonal imbalance or lack of awareness about proper food habits. In either case this condition results in one abstaining from much social contact especially with the women folk, and carry depression along with themselves, sometimes constantly struggling with the fear of being ridiculed. Chest fat is not always an irreversible curse. Gynecomastia, a form of chest fat could be due to hormonal imbalance. Sometimes, chest fat could be purely because of bad diet and lack of exercise culminating into fat accumulation. It is hence practical to try hitting the gym and burn some extra calories, with the help of a personal trainer who could suggest the right mix of exercises to tone the body and loose the chest fat. One of the first exercises that a personal trainer will make you do is the push up in all its variations. Although, it’s a good exercise to begin with, the trainer will ensure it is not overdone, as fat burning is your primary motive, not building the muscle.

The second one could be dumbbell chest press, in various angles. The fitness expert would ensure that exercises of one kind do not have a detrimental effect on other parts(e.g. the back) by guiding one through a mixed routine focused on different parts of the body. The exercise regime should also be administered at set intervals on a daily or a weekly basis. Physical trainers would make one go through cardiovascular exercises to lose the extra fat specifically the chest fat.

Diet is a key ingredient of any physical activity aimed to shape up the body. The personal trainer hence would tell one to avoid food which has high content of sugar. More importantly they make one aware by constant persuasion, how bad diet could undo most intense of physical trainings. Treadmill or rowing or cycling or bench press would really help if backed with proper disciplinary diet that would strictly be enforced if we are answerable to a fitness trainer.

Therefore one need not wear thick jackets or uncomfortable clothes or avoid the social circuit altogether, just because of man boobs. For such men, the personal trainer is more like a guide to self confidence, to opening up (sometimes literally) to others. If one has man boobs, he needn t lose the man inside, just burning out the chest fat would do.
