Just scour the web, and you’ll course after course by so called “gurus” that plan to teach you the secrets to making some residual income online. The reality is that most of these are really just a fallacy for different reasons.
A primary reason that these programs fail, is because the system is based on outdated methods and techniques that simply don’t work any more; or at least not as well as they did before. The internet is always changing, so things get old quickly.
Another reason is that the person trying to teach the method has never actually had any success with it, but is simply trying to make some money, thus there is no real proof. So people who buy the program are disappointed in the end, and as a result, make no money at all.
Finally, the worst conclusion yet; that the course in and of itself is just a “get rich scheme” and has no intention of actually helping the user. These have poisoned the internet, and have made it hard to trust one another’s reputation, despite proof.
Ultimately, this has become very commonplace, and can happen to anyone. In order to avoid one of these similar situations, there are a few things to look for; ahead of time.
How to Avoid Being Tricked
The number one way to avoid be scammed is by paying attention. Here are some things to look out for.
Many of the scammers that setup fly by night operations promise to make you income in very little time such as hours or even minutes. This isn’t impossible in some cases, but for most people, there is generally a lag time between signing up, and seeing money made.
Money Upfront. There are a decent number of reliable courses out there that cost some money, but if something asks for hundreds of dollars upfront, and has no credibility - then don’t do it.
If there are no promises for your money back on the website, this too could be a sign of trouble. Always look to see if the company promises (or guarantees) to give you every cent back. Although this isn’t surefire, check anyways.
Lastly, there are scammers out there that write fine print, and stick it at the bottom of the page. If you don’t read it, or skip right over it - then you’re at fault; not them. Read the whole page carefully.
There are several more things to be aware of, but with these few things in mind, you can be a little safer when you try to make some money online.
